Just in time for spring and another new season on the farm, Valent USA is launching a campaign highlighting the “relentlessness” of their herbicide products, including Valor® Herbicide, Valor XLT Soybean Herbicide, Fierce® Herbicide and Fierce XLT Soybean Herbicide. To celebrate this relentless spirit, Valent USA is hosting a contest aimed at sharing farmers’ stories and giving back!
At the end of National Ag Week, which runs through March 21, Valent USA will choose 5 national winners who best exemplify the relentless spirit. Valent USA will donate $1,000 to the winners’ favorite local 501(c)(3) charity, as well as $500 grant to a local 501(c)(3) given in each winners’ respective local retailer’s name.
The contest — “Relentless as You” — seeks to showcase stories of agriculture that highlights a farmer’s resiliency. In agriculture, we face all sorts of obstacles: bad weather, tough markets, harsh conditions, and fatigue (just to name a few!). Even when it seems like the world is against us, we keep going. We continue to push on and persevere and keep doing what we do! And good thing we embrace that “relentless” attitude because we’re charged with feeding the world!
To go along with the contest, Valent USA wants farmers to know that its herbicide products show a relentless spirit too. These products fight tough weeds before they emerge, ultimately providing clean fields which lead to healthy crops. To learn more about the campaign and products, click here.

To enter, farmers need to head here and submit a 100-word description of their relentless spirit of dedication and determination to succeed. Put together a picture or video to go along with the brief essay.

- Entrants share 100-word description of how they/their nominee exemplifies a relentlessness along with photo or video
- Contest concludes on National Ag Week March 21, 2015
- On April 3, 2015, Valent will notify the five winners
- On April 22, 2015, a $1,000 and $500 grant will be awarded to the winning grower and retailer’s local charity. This includes but is not limited to the local food bank, 4H, FFA and school district.
