Oklahoma AG Issues Consumer Alert About HSUS

April 9, 2014

Donating to HSUS is a bummer.

As I reported in the beginning of March, Oklahoma Attorney General Scott Pruitt’s office conducted an investigation into the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) as part of the Attorney General’s oversight of charities.

Now, Mr. Pruitt has officially issued a consumer alert against the Humane Society of the United States for deceptive advertising.

In particular, Mr. Pruitt was concerned about donations made to HSUS following the May 2013 tornadoes that were so destructive in his states. Many animal welfare organizations, including HSUS used advertising to collect money during the time. The advertising suggested that making a donation would help local pets that were displaced due to the storm.

In his press release he stated:

“Oklahomans are caring people and gave generously to assist our friends and neighbors devastated by the deadly May 2013 tornadoes,” Attorney General Pruitt said. “In the wake of the storm, there are concerns some national animal welfare organizations may have misled Oklahomans by giving the impression their donations would help displaced animals and animal shelters in Oklahoma. Our review has found the Oklahoma shelters have not received assistance from national groups. Our concern is that Oklahomans’ donations may instead have gone toward lobbying activities in other states or at the national level. We all want the best for displaced animals and appreciate the work animal welfare organizations do to provide care for dogs, cats and other animals. But it’s important to ensure Oklahomans are not being deceived, and that the donations they made to help Oklahoma-based animal shelters are doing just that.”

The Oklahoma Attorney General’s office is continuing to investigate the situation. In the meantime, Mr. Pruitt encourages would-be donors to be leery of fraudulent schemes and to always investigate an organization before donating.

Take a look at Mr. Pruitt discussing the issue:

The HSUS is not your local animal shelter. The HSUS has been hijacked by radical animal rights activist. It is an over 150 million dollar corporation that spends almost every dime it gets on obscene salaries and filing lawsuits. It raises money by showing ads of cute dogs and cats, but it spends less then 1 cent on the dollar to feed and shelter cats and dogs. The HSUS is being investigated for fraud and it was convicted of racketeering in Florida. More and more members of congress are questioning the tax free status of the HSUS because of its political activities. The HSUS IS AGAINST RODEO AND WESTERN TRADITIONS. IT IS FOR A VEGETERIAN LIFE STYLE AND AGAINST EATING MEAT. The HSUS says it spends 79% of its money for animal welfare programs, but it does not say what they are. The HSUS has been accused of paying employees to abuse animals and videoing the abuse as proof that meat production should be stopped. The HSUS uses some of its money to change our eating habits and standard of living by working to outlaw farming methods which are used on family farms. The HSUS is bad for America so don't applaud its lackeys. If you want to support something think about giving to the child fund, St. Jude, the Wounded Warriors, or you local food bank. If you want to help animals, give money to you local animal shelter. Giving money to the HSUS is throwing money away on a bloated bureaucracy that waste it on salaries and litigation. It claims to do good but if you really look at what it does, it only piggybacks on the work of local organizations.

Thank you, Scott Pruitt, for taking a stand against the HSUS… the most insidious, deceit ridden organization in operation. Stand strong… contact the FBI in OKla. City… Many reports of abuse by HSUS, and HSUS affiliates have already been filed. HSUS is a defendant in Federal District Court lawsuits [plural] for RICO violations — "Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations"… And, HSUS is also involved with defendants in Federal District Court Lawsuits through their BLACK BEAUTY RANCH"… the largest holding facility for the HSUS in the United States… or FFA – Fund For Animals, which is just a shell corp… recently bought up by HSUS, lock stock and barrel… HSUS is behind MOST of the animal seizures in the United States, which are running rampant, because citizens – many are felons and can't find employment any other way – have found that they can obtain IRS non-profit status very easily and then call themselves an "animal rescue"… even encouraged by the HSUS and affiliates… They have created a new career crying foul against livestock and animal owners. They produce NO product which they can sell…. They provide no Service for which they can issue an invoice (like a doctor, lawyer, hair stylist, etc.)…. These NEW "animal rescues" survive financially by preying on life long animal owners by INSTIGATING "Raids" against animal owners… then obtaining the entire HERD or collection of animals by corrupt judges who simply GIVE the animals to these "rescues"…. No proper or lawful Due Process of Law… This is being done in the Justice of the Peace Courts… layman non-lawyer judges… courts of NO RECORD!!! The Mafia and Organized Crime never had it so good… Nothing more than Government Sanctioned and Assisted "Property" Theft! Does "Asset Forfeiture" ring a bell??? Livestock animals are "personal property"… and when these so called "rescuers" "Raid" a livestock owner, they ship the animals to slaughter for quick cash… or sell the animals for profit… a few are put up on websites so it looks like they are "finding adoptive homes"… the TRUTH is that MOST of the animal rescue groups are actually nothing more than a BUSINESS, that pays NO TAXES… and survives by canabalizing life long livestock and animal owners, by taking their herds, leaving the REAL owners financially devastated…families ruined, and psychologically ruined… ALL of this is being done in complete violation of any Constitutionally Protetcted Rights!!

Each case is setting more and more case law against animal owners… they start with the Cows, Horses,Chickens, and Dog Breeders… but, when they have destroyed all those owners… "Fifi" and "Butch" and "Rover" will be next… ARE YOU READY?? … the WEB of deceit and "Raids" becomes stronger every day!! YOU COULD BE NEXT ON THEIR AGENDA!! Did you know that HITLER got his start this way??? He rose to power by creating "animal welfare" laws… which took away peoples property rights, and that escalated into eventually taking peoples lives…. NOTE: The HSUS has NOT been hijacked by "animal rights activists"…. The HSUS is the CREATION OF people who are USING "animal welfare" as a platform to obtain money and political power!!! All based on picture of "poor puppies", starving horses, and pitiful kittens"… the HSUS, which is the "child" organization of the HSI – Humane Society International… and anyone associated with them do NOT have :the "welfare" of animals as their "mission"… Yet, Wikipedia says they have 11 million supporters….Yeah, widows living on limited Social Security giving $20. they don't have each month, because they love animals… and Celebrities who want the "photo op"… but don't have a clue they are supporting the demise of the FREEDOM that IS the United States… The real mission of the HSUS and affiliates is to destroy our Agriculture and Livestock Industries…and ultimately destroy the Constitution of the United States… HSUS is on the trail to destroying YOUR property rights… YOUR rights in general… and ultimately, destroying the Constitution as the governing document for this country and replacing it with the "United Nations Agenda 21"…. Check out Maurice Strong… director and senior advisor of the HSUS…. Also co-author of the 340 page "U.N. Agenda 21" document… THIS IS NOT FICTION… OR CONSPIRACY THEORY…. This is happening… and due to show up at YOUR doorstep – SOON… MOST "animal rescue" groups are created, owned, and run by family members, and close friends… they are receiving donations – Tax Free – to pay for their property mortgages; pay for improving their real property; pay for feed for their own animals; pay for the living expenses… YEP… It is a new CAREER… TAKING everything a life long livestock owner has worked for and developed… and then using it for themselves… Will America wake up, or sleep right through their own demise??? So far, the citizens of America have been ASLEEP… ALL the seizures of animals and subsequent "giving" of all the animals to private citizens who are operating TAX FREE under the guise of "animal rescue" is being PAID FOR BY YOU — All paid for by the Taxpayers!! Anyone getting it yet???

Consumers are feeling the pinch, and so are farmer Consumers are feeling the pinch, and so are farmers. The increased costs for #plant23 stem from higher seed, fertilizer, chemical, and land costs. Farmers are also paying higher interest rates. And keep in mind that #plant22 was also more costly than pre-COVID times.

Modern planting is a lot more sophisticated than j Modern planting is a lot more sophisticated than just placing seeds in the ground. Our equipment actually allows us to control how many plants we want per acre, precisely spaces each corn seed in the rows, and controls how deep the seed is planted. It's all part of precision agriculture that employs high-tech sensors and data to improve efficiency and yields.

Perspective. Last week I was in the cancer center Perspective.

Last week I was in the cancer center for routine labs and a port flush. Unfortunately, my port wasn't working. There's al these little "tricks" the nurse tries to open it up. One of those was putting different pressure on it. Needless to say, it hurt! And it didn't work. So she had to get something called TPA, put it in the line, and let it work--something that takes at least a half hour.

So there I sat for half an hour. In pain. A bit nauseous. And missing a work meeting. As you can imagine, I wasn't super happy about any of it.

But then came a voice over the hospital's intercom system (something that NEVER happens). There was a Code Blue in the neo-natal center. I asked my nurse what that meant. She said a baby was born without breathing. The doctors would do everything they could to resuscitate, and the Code Blue meant everyone who was available to help was supposed to report there immediately. 💔

Perspective.

I was still in pain, nauseous, and missing my meeting. But at least I wasn't facing what those parents were facing. So I said a prayer for them and adjusted my attitude. My port started working, the nurse did her job, and I was on my way.

A little reminder to keep things in perspective. 💜

Seriously, there's no reason to worry about pestic Seriously, there's no reason to worry about pesticide residue on fresh produce. The EPA regulates the use of pesticides to make sure U.S. farmers use them safely. And the USDA takes annual samples to make sure what's on store shelves meets those safety standards.

It's always recommended to wash produce before eating it though--because you never know who else touched it.

Most importantly, eat and enjoy fresh fruit and vegetables! 🍐🍇🍌🥝🥦🫑🧅🍅
