Happy National Agriculture Day!
Today we recognize and celebrate all the people involved in agriculture!
I’m so grateful to live in a time where food security isn’t an issue. The United States enjoys one of the most abundant, nutritious, and safe food supplies in all of human history. And today we get to remember and celebrate that fact.
I don’t necessarily think farmers do their jobs hoping to get praise and gratitude. But at least for today, we can appreciate the work that everyone does–from farmers to packagers and truck drivers–to produce and support our food-production system.
