Friday the 13th

Happy Friday the 13th!

We’ve had a wet and muddy week this week. Last weekend it looked like we would get the soybeans all planted…and then we got a flat tire on the tractor we use for planting. So, that has been on hold.

Meanwhile, the guys are started applying fertilizer to the corn.

But, as you can see, the soybean fields that are already planted are starting to turn green!

Mission Accomplished

Harvest 2013 is officially in the bag. As predicted last week, we were able to finish up picking corn which meant that are season was finished.

Dad is now hauling in the remaining soybeans to the granary and things have calmed down considerably over here.
