It feels as though we’re living in some type of weird dichotomy right now.
On the one hand, our world is sick as we face the COVID-19 pandemic. We’re staying home as much as we can. We’re keeping our distances from each other. We’ve turned inward looking and cloistered. The fear, stress, and tension is palpable.
But on the other hand, spring is starting to creep in. The sun is shining more. The weather is getting warmer. Little plants and flowers are starting to appear. There’s a sense of getting outside and coming together. Hope is in the air.
These two worlds seem so far apart; it’s strange to experience them both at the same time. During this difficult and uncertain time, I hope you find ways to lean into spring. Find time to appreciate the budding flowers, the clearer skies, and the brightness that’s filtering in. Make it a priority to open the windows and let some fresh air in. Let the feeling of hope surround you and trust that we will get through this.
Spring is always sweeter after the harshest winters.
