Where Does Synthetic Fertilizer Come From?

I hear a lot about people that make their own soaps/detergents/shampoos/etc because they can “pronounce what’s in them.” Of course, implying that just because your cleaning supplies or, in this case, fertilizers have ingredients with “big names” that there is something wrong with them.

But remember, just as with this chart above, everything comes from something “natural.” Just because we combine things and make different products doesn’t mean that what we create, and label with a “big” name, is scary and bad. It all has to come from the same basic elements. Remember the periodic table?
