Where Do Farmers Get Their Seeds?

The issue of saving seeds comes up a lot. In the context of genetically modified crops people discuss it, mainly because most GMO technology agreements prohibit farmers from “saving” seeds from one year’s crop to plant the following year’s crop. However, the truth is that most farmers were not saving seeds well before the introduction of GMO crops, especially if the farmer grew hybrid varieties. This video does an excellent job of explaining why!
