USDA: Women in Agriculture

September 30, 2015

Lot’s of things in agriculture are changing – including the role women play! Women are moving into more and more roles, and no longer just holding the title of “farmer’s wife.” While there’s nothing wrong with that title, I think it’s pretty cool to see women take on a larger role in general.

To celebrate women in agriculture, the USDA has put together a whole series of graphics showing the impact women play in the country, as well as in each state individually.

To find the infographic for women in agriculture in your own state, check out the USDA’s complete list of graphics here. You can also follow along with the USDA’s hashtag #womeninag series here.
