I came across the following quote in one of the articles I was reading. The article, which is linked below the quote, came to the conclusion that the anti-GMO folks were losing the battle. How? Because it sees the anti-GMO crowd as more left-wing liberals. The problem for them is that the politicians that would normally align with them, such as Hilary Clinton and John Kerry, have come out in favor of GMOs and against labeling.
