Product Review & Giveaway: Heat Holders Thermal Leggings

November 16, 2015

Nothing is worse than doing farm chores or just being outside in the winter with cold legs! But a pair of Heat Holders® 0.52 TOG Thermal Leggings can help fix that! These leggings are made from an advanced insulating yarn, and have a soft-brushed inner pile that maximizes the amount of warm air held close to the skin, providing high performance insulation.

Now here’s the thing: I’m a Michigan girl and cold weather is just something I’m used to, especially in the dead of winter. But being cold is one of my least favorite things and I hate not being able to go outside because I get cold so quickly.

Farm Girl Trick-

And let’s be honest, big baggy snow pants kinda cramp my style.

So, I was excited to try Heat Holders thermal leggings, because it offers a way to stay warm and still look cute. The first thing I noticed was just how incredibly soft they are! These are the type of leggings you’ll want to slip into first thing in the morning, or after a long day of work. While they are closer to tights than opaque leggings, that also made them lightweight and easy to fit under jeans for an added layer of warmth! I wore them recently when I was able to go out and help with harvest. Although it wasn’t quite as cold that day as it will be in a couple months, the leggings definitely provided extra warmth.

You can find the product listing for these leggings here. You can find Heat Holders entire line of products by visiting their website.

And you can enter to win a free pair of the Heat Holders® 0.52 TOG Thermal Leggings!

What song would you listen to on repeat for hours and hours? Mine is "Fly Over States" by Jason Aldean or "I Lived" by OneRepublic. I know, cheesy. But I love those songs.

Turns out this was a little anti-climatic, but that's a good thing. Interesting read though on how USDA is working with e-commerce vendors to assure online seed sales are legitimate.

A farm's size doesn't define how sustainable it is, whether it grows good food, or whether it's family owned. In this case, size doesn't matter.

We saw major changes in the way consumer purchased We saw major changes in the way consumer purchased food in 2020 during the pandemic. People were eating out less, cooking at home, and dealing with grocery shortages.

Some people are really excited that organic food sales went up and see this as a larger trend. But as I point out in my latest article, the sale of conventional produce went up as well.

Either way, the fact that people are eating more fruits and vegetables are what we should really focus on!
