Michigan Fruit & the Crazy Weather

September 26, 2012

The video does a great job of explaining the way Michigan’s strange weather this spring and summer effected our fruit harvest and what consumers can expect this season. I just wish the video had been out earlier since most farmers markets and roadside stands are closed already for the season.

Also a warning: be certain that the produce you buy is from Michigan. Some farm markets ship in from other states and then call it Michigan produce (not that there is anything wrong with our neighbor’s produce!).
