Comments to Smucker’s

April 28, 2016

When you see something, say something. Never be afraid to speak up!

This popped up in my personal newsfeed and I had to leave a *polite* comment. Smucker’s did respond, indicated they definitely didn’t want to hear that I would be switching brands, but they would pass the message along to their “team.” I don’t know if they really will or not, but I hope so and I hope they consider how this type of marketing hurts farmers and consumers.

Is there no such thing as a business executive that understands the difference between long term planning and quick profit? Are most marketing folks complete weasels?

Do you really need a no GMO message on your products? Numerous studies have proven their safety and your actions on encourage the spreading of misinformation. I will take my business to a company that values science over pop marketing.
