We all know that agriculture provides a job for farmers, but the impact of the industry goes much further than that. In addition to farmers, there are lots of “support” positions necessary for agriculture. Examples include agronomists, packing supplies, transportation, equipment sales and repairs, seed and chemical sales, and even the produce manager at your local grocery store.
Aside from just depending on agriculture for food, lots of people depend on it for their livelihood too!
